Pureiwsh Junior School

Pureiwsh Junior School

Purewish Junior School is established in Lira City, Northern Uganda, to respond to the critical need for quality and affordable education for vulnerable children. The School vision is giving hope and opportunities to children affected by the region’s history of conflict, poverty, and displacement. Northern Uganda endured over two decades of war and insurgency, which left many families impoverished and countless children without access to proper education. To bridge this gap, Purewish Junior School provides a safe and nurturing learning environment where children can grow academically, socially, and spiritually. The school will operate on an inclusive model: offering free education to orphans and children from the most vulnerable families while allowing those who can afford to contribute modest school fees. In this way, the school promotes sustainability while ensuring no child is left behind. Beyond academics, the school emphasizes character building, life skills, and community values to nurture well-rounded future leaders.
